So, as promised, this is the first piece in our new collection and it’s called “Sao Paulo”. The original chair is a vintage 70’s Parker Knoll wing backed armchair. It has been upholstered in a mixture of delicious coloured wools. We have used a lot of this fabric for the Brazilian collection and we love it, it feels fantastic and the colours are very intense. We believe that it’s a great way to portray the loud, colourful Brazilian culture with the use of a classic English wool.
Tell us what you think!
Stay tuned for Sao Paulo – the sofa….
Due to popular demand we took some new photos of Sao Paulo in a more desirable location!
Welcome to the first blog post from 20age!
At the moment we are busy creating a new collection of pieces in Brazil and are based in Sao Paulo. So this is a great way to show you all what we’ve been up to here. To be honest it’s taken far far too long to get these pieces done, but finally we’re more or less there and have to say we’re v. happy with the results. We’ll be posting a new piece from the collection each day so keep watching and we’d love to hear what you think, let us know! But first we want to show you an interview from earlier on in the year with the magazine Casa e Decoracao. They were, and still are very excited about what we do. This article is mainly about “Bahia”, our most successful piece which inspired us to venture to Brazil and create this new collection.
